A Sunny Day at Mount Spokane

Our whole family and friends from Moscow went skiing at Lookout Pass last Saturday. Colin had such a great time he convinced me to go again on Monday. So we drove to Mount Spokane! Fog covered the low-lying areas, making the drive stressful. But up on the mountain it was beautiful.

We rented poles for Colin. They came in handy when traversing flat ground and getting up from a fall. But getting on and riding the chair lift was a little easier before adding poles. I'm pleased to report that we didn't even drop them!

Our favorite run was to go up chair #3, then cut through the freestyle park (sorry all you serious thrashers), cut over to Half Hitch, and then zoom Lower Nastar down to the bottom of the lift. The map showed a run named Crash & Burn, which we tried and failed to find a number of times.
